Magrikie's Joyful Illustrations & Scripture Art

Magrikie's art really caught my eye.
Her cheery illustrations and patterns are terrific!
An Afrikaans, South African, Magrikie has a lighthearted interpretation
of fish, flowers, feathers, fruit and flamingos!
I love her use of watercolors and her lovely Scripture art!
Enjoy every minute of Magrikie!

Kaleidoscopic Food Scans by Hargreaves & Levin

With some help from a scanner, artists Henry Hargreaves & Caitlin Levin capitalize
on the beauty of fruits and veggies by cleverly arranging them in detailed patterns.
The mirror images remind me of the cardboard kaleidoscopes we had as kids.
Look closely to recognize asparagus, figs, pears, and so on.

Here's another post I did featuring Hargreaves & Levin:

Succulent Fruit Paintings by Ellery Gutiérrez

Venezuelan born Ellery Gutiérrez has mastered the skill of
painting realistic fruit, so succulent, so fresh,
that the juice is practically dripping from the canvas!

He captures every detail:
The netted covering of a cantaloupe.
That bluish haze on a plum.
The delicate fuzz of a peach.
The white pith of an orange.
Those tiny freckles on a pear.

See much more at Ellery's website.
