Wen Fulyan Egg Carving

Carefully and oh-so delicately, Wen Fulyan carves his intricate designs,
turning a common eggshell into an awe-inspiring work of art.

His detailed sculpting is accomplished using an electric rotary tool with an ultra fine diamond bit.
Chicken, goose or duck eggs are used. After removing the yolk and white with a syringe,
Wen sketches his planned design on the shell, and the transformation begins.

Wen is from the Shaanxi Province of China. Previously a wood carver,
Wen has now been carving eggshells for over ten years,
developing his talent and creativity into artistic skills of perfection!

Can you imagine the tremendous amount of time it must take to create these fragile pieces of art?

Exquisite beauty, courtesy of Wen Fulyan!
