Cuddle + Kind Dolls Help Feed Needy Children

The Woodgate family developed Cuddle + Kind,
a line of adorable hand-knit dolls, each with its own name and personality!
Using premium natural cotton yarn, each doll is of heirloom quality.
The sweet detailed embellishments are amazing!
They're made in 2 sizes: Regular 20" and Little 13".

Being very others-minded, the Woodgates wanted this project to reflect that.
The dolls are ethically produced, giving sustainable employment
and fair trade wages for 500 artisan women in Peru.

For each doll purchased, 10 school meals are provided
to needy children in 65 countries, as well as in the US.
Over 3 million meals have been provided so far!
A truly meaningful gift to give.

May I introduce you to some of the gang?
Meet Ivy the bear.

Here we have the foxes, Sadie & Wyatt.

Aspen the penguin.

 Chelsea the cat.

Pearl and Isla, the mermaids.

Along with dolls, cute prints are available!

The Magpie and The Wardrobe's Sweet Flower Fairies

Artist Sam McKechnie, of The Magpie and the Wardrobe,
creates papier maché dolls that are just darling!
Each collectible doll, actually a flutterby fairy, has a
hand-painted face and a personality all her own.
Her body is crafted from antique French linen and then filled with fragrant lavender.
Each outfit is designed from vintage fabric, sequins, laces and antique flowers.
I love all the sweet details!

Every fairy has a wand for spreading her special magic and delight!
Allow me to introduce you to several of these adorable fairies...

Darling Dolls, Hand-painted by A Little Vintage

Jennie is a talented seamstress who makes lovely art dolls
for her shop, which is called A Little Vintage.
She adds personality by hand-painting each sweet face!
Some have a wonderful retro flair from simpler times.
You must know that I'm partial to those eye glasses!

One of the things Jennie loves to do is to accept special orders from folks
who mail her precious fabric that once belonged to a loved one.
What a perfect keepsake - dear memories sewn into a doll to cherish!

In addition to a variety of Frida Kahlo dolls, Jennie has made dolls
of popular celebrities such as Prince, Freddie Mercury & David Bowie.

I got such a kick out of her Iris Apfel brooches!

Jennie's elaborate neckpieces are fantastic!

Sweet Mice Friends by Felting Dreams

These cute little felt mice were brought to my attention by my friend Carolyn.
Felting Dreams is the dream-come-true of doll artist Johana Molina, of Chile.
She adds charming details that give personality to each of her "little friends", as she calls them.
A tiny button, an acorn cap, wire spectacles.
Aren't they the sweetest? Irresistible, to be sure.

Not just mice-
Here's a sweet bunny family...

...and a darling little fox!

Good night! Sleep tight!

You can find Felting Dreams on
Etsy, Tumblr and Facebook.
