Oh, we love the annual Mushroom Festival,
held in the Mushroom Capital of the World,
Kennett Square, Pennsylvania!
What a charming, tree-lined, downtown location!
Bags and backpacks in Bohemian fabrics.
Nearly 200 tents with vendors selling their products, crafts, and of course, food.
In addition to the usual fare, you'll find delicious delicacies featuring the star of the show:
mushroom soups, grilled portabello sandwiches, mushroom risotto, and so on.
Every year, artists paint these 3 foot tall, 108 lb. concrete mushrooms.
They're sold at a silent auction, which includes delivery within 25 miles.
Oh, no! The Dreaded Breaded Mushrooms!
Who can resist? Delectable...with just the right amount of ketchup. (lots)
French country table linens.
Tons of mushroom-themed products.
Making friends at the festival!
Inside the Mushroom Exhibit, there are terrific displays on mushroom-growing.
