Garnett Pottery

Ya know I love handmade pottery. This has to be my favorite.
I've been purchasing Garnett Pottery for years.

It's located in the ever-quaint Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA.

While the shop is managed by Steph, the pottery is individually 

hand-crafted just a quarter mile away by her husband Phil.

I love their extensive selection of designs with richly colored glazes!

Each time I visit the Lancaster area, I pop in,

and there's always something new to see.

My daughter and I have each amassed quite a collection,

but somehow, we can never seem to resist picking up another piece or two!

I'm crazy about the retro vibe of these designs by Ohio artist Richard Faust.

His colorful illustrations and patterns are lighthearted and...well, just happy!

After spending many years illustrating for American Greetings,

he now works from his home studio, gathering inspiration 

from vintage shops and flea markets.

His list of clients include the likes of Target and Papyrus.

Tucked into a parking lot at 501 Greenfield Rd. in Lancaster, PA,

is a little white trailer that bakes the very best 

homemade sticky buns I've ever tasted!

Gooey perfection. Absolutely delectable!

Promise me that the next time you're in Lancaster, you'll swing by and try one.

Heed their warning, though, because they truly are "extremely addictive."
