My, how times have changed!

I wonder what our ancestors of generations past

would think if they could see the cell phones of today?

They'd be flabbergasted with not only the small sizes and technical capabilities,

but also the obsession with which they're coveted and used. 

How on Earth did they ever survive without them?

Memories of September in Ocean City, New Jersey

This September, I spent some time vacationing at the Jersey shore-

particularly Ocean City, New Jersey, known as America's greatest family resort.

What a perfect time to be there with summer crowds back home and back to school!

Morning bike rides on the boardwalk were wonderful!

Perfect pit-stop.

A windy walk on the beach!

Such a delicious seafood dinner at The Crab Trap!

Brighten Your Day with Katrin Moye's Cheerful Ceramics

I'd think waking up to breakfast served in these ceramic pieces

will no doubt leave you smiling and feeling optimistic about the day ahead!

How about a mug of coffee that wishes you a cheery 

"Good Morning!" with its lovely colors and patterns?

Katrin Moye of Nottingham, UK is the creator of each piece.

She enjoys the process of hand-throwing the clay into simple forms,

then painting them with natural motifs like trees, leaves, and snowflakes. 

Such talent, wouldn't you agree?

Fabulous Seafood at Somers Point, New Jersey's Crab Trap Restaurant

In Somers Point, NJ, just before you cross over the 9th St. Bridge into Ocean City,

is The Crab Trap Restaurant, a terrific place to eat fresh seafood!

Since I'm a true fan of crab cakes, their sign pulled me right in.

 Their dinner menu was full of wonderful possibilities.

Also consider the 3 p.m.-5 p.m. twilight menu. 😉

The crispy crab cakes with chardonnay cream sauce were fantastic!

The "Second Mate" broiled combination platter was divine!

 No other word but decadent!

You might enjoy sitting out by the water at their deck bar!
